| I'm getting Chloe groomed professionally for the first time ever!!! Im super excited so I have to share this! I have been so busy that I have been neglecting chloe's grooming really bad. Also I gave her a not-so-good trim last time. So I contacted a local grooming salon Barknbubbles(they posted on one of my threads here) and I went up there today for a free consultation. How cool is that they do free consultations? We went over how it is I want Chloe's hair & coat to look like. We both decided it would look best to grow it out and I am going to just get her "mini groomed". Basically shaved pads of feet, trim around feet, "sanitary trim", and pluck and shave the tips of the ears. They also gave me a tour of the place and it is really nice, they dont use any heat drying which also makes me feel really good about taking her there. The owners(who is also the groomer) has a yorkie that was up there and he is just the cutest most gorgeous yorkie. This lady that does the grooming has an impressive amount of training and experience. I am so excited becasue for a year and half I havent found anyone I would trust Chloe's grooming too and I am really picky because she models for me and 2 other companies on a regular basis. I have been doing all of chloe's grooming myself and lets face it I dont exactly knwo what I am doing. I am so ready to hand over CHloe's grooming to a professional and I actually feel really excited (not at all scared or nervous) about tommorrow!!! This is a HUGE step for me!!! Now there is one thing- I have to drop her off by 9:30 and then pick her up at noon. I have never ever left Chloe with someone(well other than vacations) so Im a little nervous about that. But anyways wish us luck! I will post pictures as soon as I get her home. I guess I should go take "before" pictures right now. She is so messy and dirty, lol

| You will love going to a groomer. I love how my dogs look and smell after going to their groom. I get Jewels done once a month since her hair is long

| Sounds like a dream groomer! Her having a yorkie herself would really put me at ease and I love the idea of a consultation! I bet she'll look so great you'll never want to groom her yourself again. Can't wait to see the pics.

I think I HAVE found the dream groomer. So far just from the consulation and tour I think they are awesome and their salon is so cute! I knwo chloe is going to look gorgeous tommorrow and I dont even have to worry about her being shaved or anythign crazy like that(I always feared that if I took Chloe to the groomer I would pick her up and she would have no hair left). The groomer was big on wanting chloe's hair to grow out which I would love to do if I had someone else grooming and trimming her So I am definetly on board with this. She also uses all natural products. I am just so excited, can you tell? It is only the groomer and her mother that work there and they do appointments only and they only take a few dogs a day. She is really serious about doing an awesome job and that means alot to me!! Here is there website: http://www.barknbubblesgrooming.com/barknbubbles.html
