| Boy VS Girl??? Ok here's my questions............... I know many people here have more then 1 Yorkie well i am interested in getting another dog. Not now but in the future. I would love to have another yorkie but my boyfriend always says.......... he looks at Rylie, then looks at me and says......Do you really want another terror like her? . And i always say yes cuz i think she is just too cute and always manages to crack me up with her silly ways. So our other choice is a Maltese. but i still will try for the Yorkie But anyway my Rylie is a girl and she has been spayed. In your experience what would you say get alone better 2 girls or a girl and a boy? Or is there not really any difference?

My furkids Donating Member | I have a 2 1/2 yr old female and just got another female...I prefer females over males..I have to skin girls, I wanted 4, just wasn't in the cards for me. Soooo I got to furgirls...Now I have my 4 girls! They get along very well...Lillie is still new here so Sadie is still letting her know that she is the "Queen of the Castle" but, for the most part they are good buddies!

| I have a boy and a girl. I really like having one of each. In my experience my girl is much much more hyper and playful than Louie my boy ever was. I dont know if all girls are more energetic and boys more mellow but mine are and they seem to balance one another out really well. Good luck in whatever you choose!

| I've always heard that male/female is the best pairing because of the natural chemistry - they will get along. The next choice would be two males and (I was told) that two females together is not great - that they call them "bitches" for a reason, lol. THIS ISN'T MY OPINION - this is what breeders have told me. I love the boy/girl combination. Oscar is my goldenboy and Ruthie is my babygirl.
