Mine was like that. Rosie is not as hyper from ever since I started taking her on walks. We go for 30 minutes in the morning before I leave and again for 1 hour in the evening.

Yup Its pretty normal. I find a long walk (about an hour) will helps calm mine down. Every few days I have to do 2 walks in one day because he just gets really pent up and bored. Also try playing ball and or other games and tricks for half an hour in the eve, that helps keep mine calm.

| I always like to think of the puppy stages in the terms of humans. You've got a year and a half old baby with lots of energy that needs spent and is learning what it's teeth are for. Good luck to you. Mine didn't settle down until they were about 1 1/2 to 2 years old (dog years) and they still have their moments.

Yes! My Daisy is 9 months and I find she needs a good 2 looong walks a day and she still is a bit hyper. She does not nap much. Although since she has been fixed 2 weeks ago I am finding her a bit more calm . Good luck lisa

I broke out a smile when I saw your post! Yup. The only thing that fixes it for us is a couple of hours of running at the dog park.

Mine was and she used to bite everything because she was teething. You need to watch out because she might like to knaw on stuff like electrical cords, all my dogs did this when they were puppies. I recommend getting her nylabone gumabones to chew on, puppies love chewing on them because they are flavored and feel good on thier gums.
