| Greenies® satisfy your dog's natural desire to chew. The consistency/ingredients have been shown to help reduce odors, control dental tartar (calculus), strengthen gums and diminish oral bacteria. Some chew products contain other inert materials which are not digestible. All ingredients in Greenies® the original smart-treat® are highly digestible and, except for the palatability enhancer, are used in human food products. You can get them from Target or Wal-mart!! I only use the little bits. We get Sebastian Nutri Dent ( by Nylabone) which is similar to Greenies. |

| This is what I get Sebastian, these can be purchased at Target also Introducing the Quest™ Multi-Care Dental System from Nylabone®. Each product was designed to provide a great tasting way to help maintain healthy teeth and gums while keeping your dog's breath "up-close" fresh. |

| I call greenies doggy crack!! because my pups absolutley LOVE them!! It keeps them busy for a good 15 to 30 minutes (with the smallest sized ones). Here's a picture of Hercules with one. You can tell how attached he is to it...

| There have been some posts made with controversy with the "Greenies" Some members I believe have advised that their Yorkie's have been throwing up the greenies and such Also there have been claims to cause digestive blockage etc. I too enjoyed Greenies but with such alarms I have stopped giving them to my pets.

| My girls get one greenie a week, under supervision. I agree - they are doggie crack!

| My breeder specifically asked me not to give geenies and I agreed. She has held up her end and I will too. She too said she almost lost her female to greenies. |

| i got chloe her first one yesterday and she went nuts! She loves it. we were watching a movie and normally she bites at us or get our other dogs all wound up but she just laid there the whole time working on her greenie. I think greenie might save all my electrical wires! chloe's already ruined my surround sound by chewing right through the wires.

| In the chat room the other day I called them "Leave Me the Hell Alones" They're like doggie crack -- very addictive and will keep them occupied for awhile if you need to get something done. Stewie loves them and I believe they helped him get a few of his stubborn baby teeth out. I too would caution that they need to be given Greenies under supervision; it says it right on the package. Dogs that are known to be "gulpers" should not have them. Stewie just happily chews on them. I throw them away when there's about an inch left so he isn't tempted to swallow it.
