What my Yorkie likes to eat I have bought every food about it the best to the worst, Science Diet, Iams, Eukanuba, and Purina, my Ruby girl just likes what we eat is this normal if we eat hamburger so does she if we eat fruit loops so does she is this o.k.? She hates even the canned dog food sniffs and walks away. She don't eat that much maybe 2 table spoonfulls when she eats so will she be ok? Feeding her turkey and mashed potatoes and she loves for the baby to drop some mac 'n cheese ...lol. Please feel free to sent me your comments I 'am new to this! Thanks & God Bless! Hope

Of course you dog want to eat what your eating. I'm sure it taste better. However, watch what you feed her. Too much human food is bad for a dog. It can send your dog into liver failure or cause other health problems.

Why eat kibble when there is better stuff like hamburger to be had? If you quit feeding her "the good stuff" then eventually she will go to the kibble. Mine try to pull that stunt from time to time. It's just better for her, nutrient wise, to stick with a good dog food. I feed mine Canidae.

I agreed if you feed your pup your food of course she will prefer that. Is healthier for the pup to eat kibble. If you want once in a while you can feed some rice, chicken, etc. but of course in moderation. Kibble is better for the pups health and teeth. Last edited by Marie; 04-27-2005 at 10:28 PM.
