| so many questions... Hey guys! I've been away for over a month and I have missed YT so much! I had Layla spayed on July 31st. It was hard a tough surgery.. on me! She came through it just fine, but her stitches are still there. Is this normal? I called the vet a couple weeks ago and she told me it was dissolving stitches put in and they will eventually fall out. Should they still be there after 5 and a half weeks? Also, since she was spayed she's been peeing a LOT. I used to be able to use a pad for 2 days at the least. Now I have to change them 1-2 times a day. Does this have something to do with her being spayed? And finally, whenever I sit on the couch or go lay in bed, she goes straight to a pillow or a cushion and puts her mouth around a corner. She doesn't chew, she just sits there with her mouth on it. It seems to relax her or calm her down I guess but I don't know if it's a behaviour that's okay for her to do or if I should try to stop it? 5 weeks is way too long without YT!

| well when kizzy was spayed after she got home for a while and still sometimes yet, she peed more seemed like and I think because she was sore she wouldnt want to go outside to potty and I had her almost totally going outside and i've had to half way train her over again and she is still doing it sometimes. But seems to be getting better. I'm not sure if it was because she was sore and didnt want to go outside or if she was sore and sometimes it hurt to hold it longer. I thought for a while and still wonder if it just made her muscles weaker for a while. goodluck with yours but sometime the dissolving stitches do not dissolve that fast. But i'm not sure how long it takes.

| Howie went through a pillow chewing phase also. It was b/c he couldn't get anything else back to his molars when they were coming in. I bought him some bully sticks, which work great and sprayed the corners of my pillows with Bitter Apple whenever I saw him doing it. He stopped real quick! Glad your little girl came out of surgery OK!
