| Gucci Is Home!! Just want to let everyone know that Gucci came home today, yayyyyy she is doing good and I have to take her back in a week or two. The poor thing has this collar cuff on her to prevent her from licking her wound... It looks so complicated to put on and off. They want her to wear it to bed or if she is left home alone. I am afraid to take it off for fear she may not want to wear it. Has anyone had experience with the collar cuff? I appreciate any suggestions.. Thanks for all your prayers and continue to keep her in your thoughts and prayers that her next visit she would not have acquired any more shunts... Gina |

Can't help you there. Just tickled she's home. Gucci, Get lots of so you can get well and take mommy for a nice long . Seriously, I hope she does very well at her check up. Take care.

| Gina - You have me crying over here! I am so happy Gucci is home! Please keep us posted on her progress As for the collar (or lampshade, which I call it) It is good for them to wear so they do not lick their wounds...When I picked Sophia up yesterday from her spaying she had it on, and I was told to keep it on her for 12 days...WELL my heart broke, I succumbed to her sad face and teary eyes and took it off of her...So far so good...She has not licked her wound...But you might wanna leave it on for a bit and see how Gucci adjusts...I just have no backbone when Sophia looks at me with that sad face.. Please give Gucci HUGEEEE KISSES AND HUGS from Sophia and I! XoXoXo

| I'm happy that Gucci is home, hope all goes well. When Misha got spayed I got the collar so she wouldn't go after her stitches. I to felt awful & took it off. I ended up cutting off one of my sleeves from a turtle neck, & had her wear that. I was home so I could make sure she didn't lick her wound. I didn't think it was that easy to put it back on, hubby had to help hold her. I did have her wear it to bed since when I was sleeping I couldn't watch her. She did fine. |

Awwwww Fran thanks for the input on the lampshade ...lol So I think I will just leave it on her for the next few days at least. I work, I am in and out all day but I wouldn't want her getting into trouble. Fran.. What do you do to feed Sophia its hard for them to eat with that shade on? I am afraid if I remove it I wont get it back on her. Gucci and I send kisses back to you girls.. Pipermommy thanks for your input to.. thanks to everyone's well wishes ,your the best... oxoxo Gucci and Gina | |

| Yipeeeeee! Oh that is great news! Thanks for the update, we all worry so much about these little one’s. I can’t help either with the collar. My friends dog was supposed to wear one, but he took it off and everything turned out alright. |
