| When can I give our new pup his first bath? He still smells like a puppy which I love! But this morning, he decided to roll around in the grass and now he is kinda stinky! |

| I would say go for it! By the time I picked up Gracie from the breeder at 8 weeks of age, she had already had 3 baths. I give her a bath once a week.

| When I picked up Piper at the airport, she was covered in poop from head to toe, from being in a crate for so long. I fed her at the airport & gave her nutri-cal & water. The 1st thing I did when I got her home was to give her a bath. |

| When did you get your pup? You don't want to give it a bath the very first day you have it...it would be too stressful in my opinion. But if you have had him a couple of days, then go for it! I would put a towel in the dryer so when you are done you can wrap him up in the warm towel! |

| I got him on August 11th. Now that i think of it, When I got him he was super clean, so maybe the man I got him from gave him a bath already? I didnt even think of it until now! So it looks like lil' Archie is getting his first bath (from me) today! The towel in the dryer is a GREAT idea! Thanks! |

| I use the Tropiclean For Puppies, it has the most amazing smell of coconut that stays on the puppy (on mine for a whopping half a day or so.. LOL). The brand was suggested by YT too... The first bath I gave him I was he was kinda shocked, it mustve been his first one, I put him in the kitchen sink. Then I had to give him another one with special anti-dandruff shampoo by the vet (the dandruff's gone now thank God). Then he went through a bout of diarrhea and every morning I'd put him in a bathtub on the anti-slip mat and just wash his privates and face. He actually doesn't mind the tub. But I also keep bribing him with pieces of turkey so no wonder... Then it's one of the few times he wants to cuddle with me, sitting there wet in his fluffy towel...... I like the bathtime.
