| Can Anyone Help Me? I have been trying to get my baby to use the potty pads, and for some reason he thinks you play with them. I have tried and tried to teach him that you potty on them but its not working. I also want to ask if its safe to let him chew on the small rawhide bones. He loves them and I do take them when they start to get a little ragged but if they arent safe I would like to know. I know you all will have an answer. Thanks |

| Why dont you get some of those pad holders so he cant get a hold of the pad. I think they have them at Petsmart. I let my dogs have rawhide I just throw it away when it gets too chewed up. The majority here will say it is dangerous though. I ve just never had any problems with it and my dogs really enjoy it

| not sure about the rawhide make sure you keep an eye if you do sure someone else will give you more info but i think the puppy pad holder is a good idea! i know it sounds a lil gross but try to put some of the potty on the pee pad so they can realize that is where to go and make them want to b/c they smell them self! or they have some spray! you can prolli get at petsmart or something that is housebreaking spray. Hope this helps

| For the pee-pads the thing I found to work is if he pees somewhere not one the pad I let the pad soak up some of the pee...then when james walks by it and there is pee on it he will go (but not all the time)

I was never able to get my little girl to use potty pads, she also thought they were toys and refused to potty on them so I cant really be of much help for that one. BUt as for the rawhide, I do not recommend them. They do not digest well and so they are really bad for dogs, I dont allow my girls to have any. The only type of chew things that I recommend are the rubber nylabones and bullysticks both of which you can buy online or at your local Petsmart.
