| silly question So Tyke, when he was a puppy LOVED to have his belly rubbed it. He just laid there on his back and enjoyed. Whenever I try to rub Bubba's belly he thrashes around and wants to play. I cannot rub his belly wihtout him trying to nip me. My mom said she read that that is a yorkie trait. does anyone have a yorkie that does that? silly question, i know...just curious

| I think it depends on their mood at the time......like us, they sometimes want to be playful or left alone, etc. Mojo will love a gentle belly rub, but then a few mintues later, he is getting all hyper and wanting to play. Then again, I can rub his belly and he will just lay there on his back, all sprawled out and asleep.....so who knows. It is cute though!

| I think mine are just starting to like this again. They turned 1 in May. I think maybe they are just too active for a little while, suddenly they are flopping over and it is just adorable.

| My older girl loves belly rubs. The new puppy is just now starting to let me rub her belly at 9 months old. I think it is a puppy thing they are too busy to be still that long. As they get older they settle down some and she is starting to like it more. Telea, Zoe' and Mia |

| Jax loved belly rubs when he was just a few months old. But lately, when I try to rub his belly, he does the same thing. Belly rubs now mean playtime!
