| Concerned.. When I got Violeta the lady told us never to leave her alone... That was in Paris where everybody loves animals and you can take them anywhere. Now that we are in Venezuela is not the same, I take her everywhere with me in her carrier but as soon as people at a restaurant notice I have a puppy in there they tell me NO DOGS ALLOWED , sometimes I can leave her home because she stays with someone but when there is nobody I just stay because I dont want to leave her alone(she is only 4 months)... I'm scared something could happen to her and I'm not there just like with my kid.... Please I need some advice here!!!! |

| Its Ok. Maybe you could train her to be by herself. I used to take Jane everywhere but that was in the summer I got her which was 6 years ago. But when the summer was over and I had to go back to school so I don't spend time with her and no one was there. I was gone 8 hours a day. But finally her got used to it and takes care of herself when I'm gone. If you leave her at home for awhile maybe she get use to it. And then you don't have to worry though.

| Unfortunately we just cant take our babies every where, especially if we have more than one Your baby will be fine on her own for short periods of time First you have to puppy proof a room..Hide or cover any electrical cables, take anything she could choke on out of reach etc..Then make it a pleasant space for her Leave out food and water,a peepee pad (if thats your method),a comfy bed (they basicly sleep all the time you are out ) some toys to play with and even leave the radio on low..thats what I do Your baby will be fine like this for a few hours, nothing will happen to her |

| I leave Adina alone for short periods of time too. She will be fine just make sure the area where she is left is totally puppy proofed. I wish we could have our babies with us at all stores but for now Petsmart will do lol My girl loves it there. even if I don't need anything sometime I will go there just to take her. Smiles, Myra |

| Mocha is 4 months old and I leave her alone all day from 7:40-3:15 and she's fine.. I keep her confined to 1 room (my kitchen) and she has her toys, pee-pads, and bed and shes fine.. They are smart and can entertain themselves Good luck

| If you, or anyone in your, have any type od disability you could consider training her as a "Service Animal" and see if Venezuala has a law similar to the US where a service animals is allowed access to any public place without limitation or extra fees. If you wnat to know more please PM me and I can help. |

| Thank you very much... I think I'll just wait till she is a little bit older and I'll begin leaving her alone.. although I dont know if its gonna be worst for her or for ME!!! But I'll have to do it eventually. Alexandra |

| I leave Gracie alone for a couple of hours at a time during the day while I go to school. I keep her in her kennel...she actually likes it in there...she gets her naps in while I am at class...Then when I get home I play with her before I have to go to class again...my vet told me that it was a good idea to keep her in her kennel while I was gone...especially since she is so young (3 months). I will eventually end up gating her in the kitchen (this is what my parents do with their dogs...they have a baby gate that keeps them in the kitchen) good luck!!!
