| Target finally replied!!! If you remember I was going to contact Target to find out why with all the great doggie items they sell, why we couldn't bring them to try on clothes and carriers, etc. Here is their reply: Dear Janet, Thanks for your email to Target. I'm glad to hear you enjoy the selection of merchandise for dogs at the Lafayette Target store. I'm sorry for any disappointment, but only service animals are allowed in Target stores. This policy exists to help provide a safe, distraction-free shopping experience for all guests. I will be sure to share your feedback with our store operations team. We're always glad to hear from you, so whenever you have any questions or comments, give us a call at (800) 440-0680. You can also check with a Guest Service Team Lead at your store, or visit us on Target.com. Either way, we're here to help! Thanks for shopping with us. I hope we'll see you again soon at Target. Sincerely, Lisa Target Guest Relations www.target.com [THREAD ID:1-26YZTV]

| I agree with Target. I don't think any dogs should be allowed in a place like Target unless they are service dogs. Michelle |

| I can understand Target because unfortunately not all pets and pet-owners are well behaved. They could make an exception though for tiny doggies in a carrier! |

| If I'm not mistaken the target in Lafayette is a super target, therefore they sell food. I can understand not having dogs allowed in any place that sells or serves food.

| Yes, the Target in lafayette is sure a Super Target. I can understand why they don't allow dogs, espically with the food. I still love shopping there though. |
