| Two vs. One My husband and I have been talking if having two would be better for our puppy she is 17 weeks now. We were wondering what your feedback would be? Should we wait for her to be at least one or have another puppy while she is a puppy? I have even thought wait until she is older and get a one from rescue. We would love to have your feed back? |

| hhmmm i just bought my yorkie in January at 16 weeks. now he's about 8 months. i cant wait to get another one! this time i'm gonna get a girl. but thats a good question. i dont know if i should wait until he's 1? i think thats what i'm gonna do. when he's about 10 or 11 months i'm gonna get a female yorkie (but i prefer to get her around 5 months). good luck! |

| Having to puppies at once can be trying, but the good side is they grow up together from the get go. Might even help burn off some of that puppy energy

| I did it backwards from you I had my rescue first then got a puppy - I have to say that although I was a little concerned that Sandy wouldn't appreciate her space being invaded, it was the BEST thing we could have done for her. Since we've had Tia, her energy has increased by leaps and bounds! She loves her little sister!

| I have 2 and I keep wondering why it took me so long to get a second! I love having 2 But it is hard work, especialy if the first yorkie decides to punish you for getting another yorkie by not being potty trained anymore This will mean you will have a new pup to house train and your first stubborn yorkie to re-train at the same time. This was my case and the only problem we had..apart from that, having 2 is ideal When you go out, they keep each other company, they play together, they eat together and of course its twice as many puppy kisses which I LOVE! The reason we got Jess was because Lady was supposed to be mine when we got her,Im alone most of the day as I dont work so my husband got me Lady to keeo me company..but Lady fell or my husband and basicly ignored me..lol,so my husband got me Jess who is totally mine You will love having 2,and they will love to have each other |

| Two is great, three is going to be even better My first yorkie, whitby was a rescue. He had extreme separation anxiety but that was his only problem. I took care of that by hiring an older gentleman on SS to take care of him while I was at work. Helped us both out, added to his fixed income and provided him with companionship and soothed my pups separation anxiety. Now I have two slightly more than a year old males. I got both as puppies, one in May, one in June. I cannot imagine having just one, in fact, I am saving for a third. These two boys play together like real human brothers, always want what ever it is that the other has, and give me so much joy and laughter, that I want more. I am going to be looking for a little girl to love and join our household in September. If I had a house, I would go for even more. |

| I think two is a good number. I got Roxy when she was 8 weeks old and I work all day long. She wouldnt eat all day until I got home. I felt really bad leaving her so I got a second yorkie one month later! lol! Now I dont feel guilty leaving. They basically sleep and play all day long and being that I just took her to the vet and she gained one full pound in a month, I dont think she is having any problems eating!!! |

| you really need to evaluate youreself and your living lifestyle........ as well as that of youre pup........... we got toby and now he is 7 months old, i dont think he would do well with another puppy in the hosue because he is so used to being "number 1"....... i guess im just a one dog person, I have lived in a situation where we had 4 dogs in teh house (granted, they were BIG dogs) and i really like the amount of attention we both get from eachother with just the dog me and my fiance......... i highly doubt we will get more than one at a time |

| I want 2, but Stewie is SUCH a mama's boy; I don't know how he would take it. Also, I don't have the $funds$ right now for spaying, shots, and whatever else comes up. Plus, I don't know what breed I want.
