| Dark color spot on back My dog Lucy will be having her first birthday in a couple of days. As I was petting her this morning I noticed there is a small spot (size and shape of a large almond) of black hair growing on her back. It is located about 2 inches up from the base of her tail. It looks like new hair because it is shorter and thicker than her regular hair, and her hair on her body is silver/grey/bluish in color, and her face and feet are silver and tan. Her father is the same color as Lucy, and the mom is black and tan. Has anyone else seen anything like this with their yorkie? Anyone know what is happening? |

| I dont know why it happens but it does. My yorkie Chachi had a skin problem where he lost alot of hair on his back. Before he lost it the hair was silver. When it came back in it was jet black. I have no explanation for why this happened either.

| Did he stay silver or turn black? Or did just that spot stay black? |

| She was under a year I think. And she had this almond shaped spot of dark hair growing in. It ended up fine. But at the time it seemed really strange. The color spot was a different color than the rest of her. |
