| Rocky scared me! This morning about 6:30 I woke up, and I heard Rocky was about to throw up (maybe it's that paint from yesterday!, or could just be the heat from yesterday) So he threw up, I cleaned it up and brought him into bed w/ me. He really wasn't moving a lot, just kinda moping over. I fell back asleep, and a little while later I woke up and he was laying on his back w/ his legs up in the air! I started shaking him (not hard) and yelling his name...and he woke up, looked at me, rolled over and went back to sleep! I don't think I've ever been soo relieved! Has anyone elses yorkie ever slept like they were dead? |

| Lexie sleeps with me and she gets right next to my back, I always sleep on my side, but I am afraid that I might roll on her or something, One time she was laying on her back when I woke up scared the holy crap out me I thought she was dead...I grabbed her up, starting shaking her & screaming her name, she was just looking at me like are crazy or something.... So I know how you feel..It scares the devil out of you....

| Millie & Bonnie does! Yes my Millie does. one time I woke up and her eyes were half open but you could only see the whites of her eyes and she wouldn't wake up for a couple of seconds but when she did she just looked annoyed at me for disturbing her lol. Millie and my parents Yorkie Bonnie sleep on their backs all the time. When they're really deeply sleeping and relaxed they like to stretch out. Love and light, Chrissy xxx

| My Joey has done that before, it is so scary. I would sit up in bed, grab him and start yelling JOEY, JOEY and my husband would shoot out of bed like a rocket and ask what happened in his panic voice, and Joey would just look at us like "what is going on"? I will never get use to it. Drives my husband nuts!!!

| My dog sleeps like this all the time.... on his back with his legs straight up - on the sofa, on the floor, on the bed, or anywhere. Obviously, he's very comfortable this way. A lot of people's Yorkies sleep this way. Enjoy! And, don't worry about your pup throwing up occasionally. My pets have done this all their lives (occasionally) without ever being sick....especially my cats. I don't know - maybe they eat too fast or drink too fast - or eat something that doesn't quite settle with them. My dog's and cat's all eat grass. They just love it. But wouldn't you know that occasionally they get a piece stuck in their throat. Then they generally hack and cough a little and finally throw up a little just to get rid of it. (I suppose we'd do the same thing.... if we had grass stuck in our throat.) Good luck! Carol Jean |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Cali did that to me early this morning for the first time. I woke up about 2:30am and she was laying next to me and it felt like she was barely breathing and she was laying on her side. So I called her name and nothing, shook her a little nothing I was about to panic so I picked her up and she finally opens her eyes and looked at me like I was nuts!

| I have had Georgie since the end of August and I can tell you I wake up at least 3 times per night to feel him to make sure he is breathing. I know how you feel it's very scary. I am glad he is okay

| I know the feeling, and they sleep so sound that they do not wake up right away. It is scary. |
