| Ok, How do you do it???!!!! I just can't get Won Ton to wear any clothes. I put a cute shirt on him and he went nuts! He just kept on rolling and rolling over, tripping over himself, everything, just to get at the shirt! How do you do it....how do you get your yorkie to wear clothes? |

| I'm not sure... I started putting shirts on Oscar when I first got him and he didn't seem too phased by it. I would try putting one on him and then maybe take him outside to play or play with him inside to keep him distracted from what he's wearing. If he made a fuss the first time or two I wouldn't let that discourage you. Just like everything else (like topknots!) it takes time for them to get used to it. Someday he may appreciate a nice sweater on a chilly day.

| Sully has been wearing clothes all his life and is very, very used to it. In fact, when I put a shirt on him now, he'll stick his head in and lift his paw! How funny is that?

| Lucky people! Well Won Ton is only 9 weeks old and I know it will take time. I was just wondering how you first introduced it. I will keep on trying |

| I have the same problems getting Bailey to wear clothes. She just hates it. The only time I insist is during the Winter when we go out, she has to wear a sweater cause where I live it gets VeRy CoLd.

| I have the same problem with Sonny wanting to wear clothes (like it's a girl thing or something.) Every time I put something on him he will run to my husband (he's a daddy's dog) like "OMG Daddy! Get it off! Get it off! It's burning my skin! GET IT OFF!" My husband tell him "you just can win with women, Sonny boy" but will eventually take it off. Sonny is getting better at it though. I made him a tux and he has to wear it sometimes. So they will eventually get used to wearing clothes. Hang in there.

| I will try distracting him. I guess I just need to do it frequently and then try to keep it on longer and longer. Let us see! |

| My dogs almost never wear clothes, but when they do -- they don't seem to mind them at all. I do know that how the clothes fit your little dog - has a lot to do with whether or not they will be bothered by them. For instance - no dog likes anything that is high or tight around their neck - nor do they like anything that is loose and drags beneath them. The little shirts and things that my dogs wear fit well - are comfortable and not binding in any way - and I often think they don't even know they're wearing anything. Plus after they have them on for a while, I think they pay even less attention to them. Good luck -- Carol Jean |

| I think its just persistance ..ya got to keep doing it .I don't think any of them like it at first , some may never like it but they all seem to tolerate what we as humans do to them ..they have such good manners ..its the Brit in them I think!

| The shirt is not binding in any way....he just likes to play with it....bite at it and so forth. I agree, I think persistance is the key. Every dog is different just like every person is different- some dogs tolerate it and others don't. If he does not like it after trying it several times, I think I will just stick with a bandana, which he does not seem to mind at all. |

| Holly hates putting on clothes. I have to chase her around the house till i catch her. Mike says she likes being nudie(LOL). When she has clothes on she walks around the house rubbing her back to get it off. When her clothes are off she dosent do that. I put clothes on Holly about 5 times a week, since I got her in december. I still have to chase her etc. I think some dogs just dont like clothes and reather be au natural! But I still try anyway!

| I started with harness vests. They associate the vest with something they like...a trip outside for a walk! They just learned to get very excited about wearing them that way. |
