| Any Vets on here, i would like to know... I would like to know if there are any Vet's on this site maybee we can post questions for you and you can answer some. Although with all the good advise we get from other memebers on here are great i would like to hear from a Vet. thanks, Eli |

| It would be too much liability for a vet to identify themselves and to answer questions online since they have the knowledge and could be held accountable if something went wrong. Since we are just dog owners, not experts, we can make suggestions and not be held accountable. |

| My nephews wife is a vet, but they live in another county, but if she were located closer to me, I would use her.

| Good question and im sorry that I dont have the answer, but I saw that you only had 3 replies and wanted to respond to it, because my last post only got 1 and my other 0 so far........... I dont post that much, but when I do i feel it is important and I would love a response..........I know I have whinned about this resently and got a lot of responses but I guess I am just really frusterated with life right now and am sensitive and bummed and feeling like crap...so please dont mind me... sorry hun....

| I think there are vet techs on here But have never read any posts that say "I am a vet". I agree, there could be some liability involved.

| I was a vet tech for 5 years, but not a vet. You are right about the liability. A vet really needs to see and touch the animal to give any diagnoses. There are also blood tests and other tests that we do to back up what is said before saying forsure what is the problem and even after the tests sometimes the vets still aren't 100% sure. It is so hard with out babies because they cannot vocalize in our language how they feel. It is a very hard job. |
