First Grooming Malibu hasn't been groomed yet. I have just trimmed him up from time to time, but the time has come for an all out grooming becuase I don't know what to cut...which leads me to my question. I don't know what I want done so what instructions do I tell the groomer? Do I just leave it up to them or could that be a big mistake? I'm looking for instructions that you guys give your groomers and maybe pics to show what you had done...thanks for your help!!!

I tell the groomer to only cut around the eyes, do the ears and get the hair out of the ears, trim around the paw pads and do the sanitary cut around the private areas. I tell them to trim no other places. I've heard some really bad stories, so make sure you tell them and do write it down what you want, so there is no misunderstanding. Good Luck

That is great I think my FORMER groomer only did bigger dogs because she made my Georgie "naked" and I took a picture in to show her.

Kali is going for her first grooming on Thursday. Our groomer has been cutting Kobe's hair for 7 years so I'm not nervous about the cut. But, I am nervous about how she will behave. I always get the puppy cut on my yorkies. Kobe always got hot easily and this works out the best for us.
