| Yorkie puppy questions Hey. I was just wondering about a few things so that I have everything set up when my baby comes home( 5 more days!!) OK... her i go , 1)which brand of shampoo/ conditioner have you all found to be the best? I have heard 8 in 1 is good and I was just wondering what ya'll think. 2) Muffy will be 6 weeks old when I get her... when do I really need to start brushing her? I know I need to mess with her and stuff to get her used to it, but I saw her on Sun. and her hair really wasn't long at all( of course) so i was just wondering what the best age to start is. 3) Are there any good/cheap online stores to order supplies from? 4) I've heard something about a flea comb...what is it? Thanks ya'll I just was checking to try to make sure I get everything ok for my fuzzball. byez.

| 1-It does sound young to go home...i would only recomend bathing her after she has her shots, or maybe just a fast clean up...just make sure the shampoo will be tearless puppy shampoo. 2-Get her used to grooming from the begining 3-there are lots, like petedge.com por example 4-flea comb is just like the ones for people, i use to clean around the eyes(get boogers out)

| Hey. Yes, she is 6 weeks, but she is the only puppy and is alot bigger than they usuallt are at that age since she is gettign all the milk. She is going to get her shots htis week becuz the breeder is taking her to the vet for a check up. She is incrediably healthy and this is a breeder I totally trust since she is an older lady and I know the puppy is very well taken care of so I am trusting her on this. THanks for the help! .

| I thought 6 weeks was young also but I brought Sydnee home at that age and she only weighed 10 oz. Now she is almost a whopping 3 pounds. She is a big girl now at 6 months. I gave her a dry shampoo and use the shampoo cloths for puppies when she was real tiny. Plus I only use the flea comb on her mustache-face area. Is that wrong?

Also I went to Wally World and was in the dog section and they had it there. Grrrr and for less!!! So as soon as I pick it up I will give you the name. Sydnee has been jumping in and out of the bath so much, that had to buy some spray in conditioner for her they didn't have the ice on ice someone said was good. I got her something by Four Paws called Soft n Silky. Anybody heard of it, is it bad, good? Should I even begin to put in on her? I don't want to do anything that will harm her.
