| My turn for the spay worries! My 10 month old adopted baby is going in tomorrow. I've managed to put a LITTLE weight on her, but she is still only 2 lbs 4 ounces! The vet insists that she is healthy, and that her weight will not be a problem....but of course....I worry. Please send her some positive YT vibes, if you will! And....since she can't eat....is it ok if I give her a little nutrical in the morning when she wakes up? She's never had trouble with hypoglycemia....but again....a mother worries!

| Hi!! My little Lilly was 2.7 lbs when she got spayed. I was extremely worried also, because of all the things that you read on putting your furbaby under anesthecia. BUT no problems, and everything worked out great! So long as your vet says your furbaby is healthy than it will be okay Good luck!! ~lizette |

| I know! I know EXACTLY what you are feeling!! Tiffany got spayed last Thursday. She has dropped from 2.7 lbs. to 2.3 lbs. But she is as healthy as a horse! I was worried to death for her. But she is fine now just 3 days after her surgery. She also had 4 teeth pulled while she was under. She will be one year old this Thursday! I will be thinking about your sweetie. She will be just fine. Sending good thoughts your way!

| I have no idea on the nutrical thing, though I would think the vet would take care of it, but I don't think it would hurt to give her a little, I really don't know. Good luck and we wish you both the best and a speedy recovery for your little girl!!
