My husband and I are looking into getting another yorkie (female). We found one today, about 45 minutes away. The breeder says that the parents are registered with AKC but she haven't registered the litter. She also says that both the parents are under 4.5lbs IMO the parents looked like 8-10lbs. The dad was completely shaved down so we couldn't tell if he had silk or cotton hair. The puppy she had was 9 weeks old. The pup had 4 times as much hair as Buttercup so I figured it had the cotton-type hair. We were told that she weighed 1.8lbs The puppy didn't seem like she was 1.8lbs because we had Buttercup (2.15lbs) there and the other puppy just seemed to be heavier, like 4lbs or more. When we asked the breeder to put the puppy on the scale, she refused and kicked us out. What does that mean? Is she lying about her pups?

RUN LIKE HECK in the other direction! Heck yeah, this breeder was lying!

I'd like to know who the breeder was...sounds like someone I know!

I wouldn't feel comfortable wiht that... I would go to the next person on the list.

OMG... Sounds like you should be VERY happy that she "kicked" you out....
Warning signs in every response she gave you !!! GO GO GO !

Wow... it is a good thing she kicked you out.

It is very frustrating to see how many people lie about their pups...
