| free yorkie sooooo my friend david and i went to one of his older friend's house last night for a few beers and whatnot. this lady has two BEAUTIFUL, well groomed schnauzers and one adorable s**tzuh, and one yorkie in her backyard. all the dogs stay in her home except for the yorkie. they got the yorkie for her daughter, but she NEVER baths him or does anything with him. so they started leaving him in the backyard, but he keeps digging, so most of the time they leave him in a crate. last night i was telling her how much i love dogs and she jokingly said i should take him, his name is jake. i jumped on the idea and.. well.. guess who is lying on my bed right now? but seriously. yall should have seen him. he was really in horrible condition. he was covered in fleas and ticks from head to tail and his hair is matted in some places. last night, david and i gave him a bath and coated him in flea killer stuff. i told my mom this morning and she wasnt TOO happy, but she offered to pay half of the cost of getting him groomed. he really does look kinda rough. SO IF YOU'D LIKE TO RESCUE A YORKIE, please let me know. i've got to find him a new home. i absolutely can not afford another dog. if no one around me wants him, and no one on here wants him, then i'll have to send him to a rescue agency. he seems to be potty trained, he has a WONDERFUL temperment, and he gets along great with other dogs. | Poor little guy, my heart goes out to him but MS is a little bit far. I would take him to a Vet and check him for heartworm, I have read where it is prevalent down there. Thanks for rescuing him and I hope he finds a wonderful home soon. He looks like a real cutie pie! |

| Yeh! Now he's going to get a great home, good for you. I'm only in Alabama and if I didn't have so many dogs already I'd be over in a heartbeat. He's so cute, looks like he's so full of personality though doesn't he? I'm sure you'll find a good home. How hard could it be to find that little guy a home right?

| He is too cute! If only I lived closer and didn't already have 6 doggies! Hope you find him a great home. I just did the same thing with my Holly. She was free also. (Long story) She was kinda in rough shape too. Here's a picture of her.

| Mikey I reward you the BIG YORKIE RESCUE MEDAL ! God bless you for your big heart. As I know our fellow YT's there will be a good home for him somewhere. Unfortunately Mitzi doesn't get along with other dogs and decided to be an Only Yorkie. |

| Oh boy Mikey, just when i think I couldn't admire you enough!! That poor boy is so lucky to have met you. He is adorable and if I lived closer, you bet I would take him. I am sure you will find him a great home. In the meantime, keep showering him with love and affection. That poor baby was so horribly neglected he needs to feel safe and secure.
