| Family dont understand and laugh at me my hustand (his kids, brother in law ect) all think i am "supposed to treat my yorkie like "a dog" i tell them that he isnt a regular dog, these dogs are very fragile and with special needs that other bigger dogs dont have.... they tell me i treat him too much like a baby and that is "annoying" they also advice me "not to pick him up too much"/// bottom line is getting really annoying because this dog to me is very special, my parents are dead and i am an only child, i have never had anyone to take care of and to me this is very special, but no one around me seems to understand, they think is terrible he has clothes, terrible that i give him some craps off the table, terrible i have him on my lap a lot.... i am very close of tell thim them to "bug off" today i actually said "this dog is my only friend in london" (have been here a year and i only have made two friends/// not easy here.... why are they saying this things? dont they see that it hurts |

| thanks this to me is very strange because i love my dog like he is human, to me he isnt just a dog...but they see it as "oh you pay too much attention to him, you hold him too much you put clothes on him, thats not natural" it really hurts, they dont say anything nasty about him, but to me is not cool because he is my dog and i alone have to decide how to raise him. |

| Don't let it bother you. He is your baby, they just don't understand. Don't let them try to make you stop either!! He is comforting to you, and I am sure you are to him. Forget what they say, he's your baby boy!

| I understand what you mean. I have been in Germany the last 6 to 7 months and had made no friends yet. My husband and parents dont like the fact that I treat my furbabys so much like humans, so dose my inlaws. I got really mad one day and I told them "you wish someone would treat you the way I treat my babys. If you dont like how I treat them, to bad. There my furbabys and what I do with them or to them is my business, not one else's, so keep your opinions to your selfs." After that, they now just except it. I even convinces my husband that my babys needed clothes. He even bought my Bella her very 1st shirt which should be at my parents house by the time I get there next monday, for vacation Just set down and tell them how you feel and if they still dont "TRY" to understand. Then tell them if they cant say anything nice about you babys, then dont say anything at all. Just remember YT is here for you!! Olivia, Bunny And Bella |

| I have had some rough times after I had surgery about 2 years ago. After my hysteroctomy I had some hormone unbalances. And with that I went through a lil case of depression. That was when my husband said I needed to get my yorkie. He will never understand the bond that my baby and I have. But he knows never to say anything because he knows that lil guy makes me happy. And thats exactly what he wanted to have happen. Now I want a lil girl to go along with my lil boy. Then my family will be complete. My husband has agreed just cause he knows them lil furbabies make me so happy.

| I agree ignore them! My older bigger dog gets babied and so does my new Yorkie. My yorkie is always on my lap or my kids lap. It was either a little dog or a baby and my husband gladly said the Yorkie! |

| i agree, i dont know why people get like that with little dogs, is as if it bothered them that someone is being treated special. as if "no dog deserved to be loved that way" is almost childish, they put it as if "it wasnt normal or natural" but to me is ridiculous to see adults picking on a little dog! |
