Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of crazyaboutyorkies.com ??
They just called me after inquiring. The girl says the puppies are from her uncle who lives in Brazil and they are shipped to her in MA and CA to where her brother also sells them. Says they have been doing this for 2yrs. No papers on the dogs though, not registered with any clubs. 1yr health guarantee. What do you make of this???

Sounds like a scam. I would be very careful about any listings of yorkies born overseas. Whenever you hear other countries involved, turn the other way.

There are some that have successfully purchased Yorkies from other countries. I personally always recommend a person go visit the breeder's home first and see the puppy in person first. I think it's a much safer way to find a Yorkie rather than sending money to an unknown person.

Yea, the best thing to do is to find someone close by so you can go and visit the pups and see where their raised. This way there is no room for someone to scam and you can make sure your getting a good quality pup

I agree with this. There are members who have gotten there dogs from
Brazil but I would be very cautious with the amount of scammers there are out there.

I went to the site and I'm not sure about this one. At first, I said scam, but now I'm not sure. They do accept Paypal and credit cards so I think you have protection just by that. Paypal even does escrows. Don't know what the quality would be, but I don't think it is an outright rip off.
