| Update on Husband liking Yorkie Well, it is the third day and everything is great! Annabelle sleeps in her crate all night, and she doesn't whine! We haven't had any potty accidents, and when she is in her large crate, she pees and poops on the pee pad! I know she is no where from being housebroken, but I am being very mindful of her when she is out of the crate. Husband likes her, but hasn't really played with her yet. But he has been in a bad mood about work, so he really doesn't feel like doing anything lately anyway. He will warm up. I think he is proud of her, I know he has been talking about her at work because he just called me to update me on his co-worker's chihuahua, which means he MUST have been talking dog at work! So, so far so good! |

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | Lol They slowly grow on them. My husband liked Lex but made it clear that it was our responsibility when we got him. He warmed up fast. He has been suprised at the amount of energy that this small dog contains and how much fun he is to have around. I am now getting him to the point of walking him for me. Believe me that was totally unexpected. My husband is embarrassed to walk a not so manly dog...lol. We have another small dog in the past (I had a shih tzu) and he refused to walk him....Lex has won him over...lol. Good luck. It will happen.

| My hubby and Nikko had a love/hate relationship from the very start. Nikko is very possessive of me and would even growl at Louis (hubby) whenever he came near me. Louis was jealous of all the attention I showered on Nikko. I never thought those two would learn to get along. But I was wrong!! Now they are best buds, Louis loves to roughhouse with Nikko (a little too rough for my taste, but he swears he's toughening him up for the "real world" ) and they fall asleep together on the couch. It's so cute.

Donating YT 10K Club Member | Her personality will win him over. Yorkies are full of personality. My hubby was one that said ok, but it's your responsibility...yada, yada yada. Well, I'm not the one carrying her to bed with him at night....even though there are people still awake in the house. He'll love her as much as you do, you'll see.
