| Adopted I started with one yorkie named Bubba a year ago in May, than bought Bubba a brother to play with named Mikey. Bubba is 1 1/2 and is 3 lbs 5 ounce, Mikey is about 6 or 7 pounds and he'll be a year June 2nd. They're are wonderful dogs and they love each other very much. I thought my life was complete with these two, I loved coming home to them after work and being with them when I was off. But than I saw Joey on petfinder. Joey is a puppy mill resue who was frightened and in poor condition, skin and bones. He spent his entire life in a tiny cage with wire floors not being able to stand up correctly. As a result, he has a rounded back and a peculiar way of standing. His teeth were rotten and had to have 13 pulled when he was nuetered. He had to have special care at the vets as he had problems during surgery and recovery. Well Joey has now been a part of my family for two weeks and is doing great. He's starting to play with Bubba and Mikey, runs alittle in the yard, eats like a little pig, follows me everywhere and is enjoying all the love he get morning, noon and night. If anyone is looking for another yorkie please go to petfinder and help out one of these little angels. The love you'll receive in return is unreal. |

| Two adopted I forgot to mention that a man that works in my office also adopted a five year old female yorkie from the same puppy mill as Joey. She had an extremely large inquinal hernia and was really in bad shape. This man lost his wife a year ago and needed someone to love, when I told him about this yorkie he became interested. We went together to meet Joey and the little female that is now called Mini. He is absolutely in love with her. |
