| A little scare We are laying in bed and I have a laptop, but the battery is getting low so I had to plug it in. In order for it to reach the bed I have the battery pack on top of Luig's cage. Luig was chewing a greenie and must have been thirsty. He jumps down (which I can't stand cuz I feel its too high, but he is fearless) but he jumps and catches himself on the cord with his neck. He couldn't get down and starts gagging. I jumped and got him off but he was gasping for air. It took a couple of forced breaths for him to catch his breath. At the same time though I thought he may have had his greenie in his mouth and was choking on that, but it wasn't in his mouth, it was still on the bed thank goodness!!! I think it scared him more than anything. I put him back up with us and he was on Ray for a few mins, then he crawled up on my chest while I am typing this. My poor baby!!! He seems ok though just scared!! so please NO CORDS NEAR THE BED!!!!!!!!! Mandy & Luigi |

| Whew! I'm so glad he is okay! That does sound like quite the scare - has your heart started beating again yet?

| OMW Are you okay yet? Running around taping all the cords down yet? My son gave Sydnee a treat and she started gasping and I thought she was choking to death, and he is a lifeguard with all the training and I was holding Sydnee screaming at him to give her mouth to mouth, cpr something. Of course by this time Sydnee was okay air just went down the wrong pipe but I was so upset I was going on and on and on. Then Sydnee finally barked and my son was shaking me telling me to chill. Till this moment I thought was becoming one of those neurotic moms, its good to know I am not alone. My Mom said I was like that with my son also. Isn't it strange I thought I was so even keeled and able to handle anything.
