| Question about weight Hi, Molly is almost 6 months and she weighs 7 lbs now is that a normal size for her age and also since is is still a baby is there a chance that she could get alot bigger. Her parents were only 7 lbs each. Also she is an ACA, what is the standard size for an ACA yorkie. Is there even a standard size??? Crystal |

| The standard is 4 to 7 lbs. I would quess she is still going to grow a little more so she will be over the standard.

| Yea she's going to be a big one. My yorkie is 5.2 pounds and 1 year old. I can tell you though if I could have a yorkie the size of yours I would do it in a heartbeat. I really hate how small my dog is, she is always the smalles thing around just about any other dog. I said this in another post but I saw a 13 pound yorkie at the dog park one day and it was the prettiest one I ever seen.

| Full Grown Size My new baby is 3.6 lbs. at 3 months old. Henery Edward is so cute that I really don't care about weight though, but my vet says that they usually double in both weight and height from their measurements at 13 weeks. I'm new to this breed,so we shall see I guess. |

| Some pups stop growing around 7 - 9 months . Why do you want to breed her ? |

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | Size not that size matters....lol . But when I spoke to my vet he said that they are pretty much done with their growing at nine months and that is also when he said that it was a good time to switch to adult dog food. That is also what the breeder said and also two of the yorkie breed books that I read. I guess you can't really tell because there are small dogs out there that their pup grows much bigger. Sometimes size from way back in the breeding line can pop back up again. The standard from what I know is between the 5-7 pound range. Lex is almost six months now and weighs about 5lbs. I am so curious to see how big he will get. Hope it helps. By the way your pup is totally adorable.

| I have a big little Yorkie. I wrote these weights down with him.....and I'm sure he weighs a little more now. 3 months - 4 lbs 2 oz. 4 months - 5 lbs 2 oz. 7 months - 8 lbs 2 oz BUT -- different little dogs grow at different rates....some grow more earlier and some later. Carol Jean |

| What a CUTIE!!! She will probably grow a little more until she is about 12-14 months. BUT, ENJOY!!! Both of my yorkies are around 6.5 lbs and sometimes they seem SO LITTLE and they are ALWAYS the littlest things around. I always have to watch them around little kids and make sure when company is over they are not stepped on. ENJOY YOUR SUPER SIZED YORKIE its a good thing!!! |

| She may not get any bigger. My yorkie stopped growing once she was 6 months, but of course she grew really quick up until then. I guess you will just have to wait until she is an adult. I loving getting puppies, I can just get so anxious to see how big they will get and what they will look like.
