| Dog Clothing Sizes??? I am wanting to get Sully a couple of new clothing items (b/c he's just so darn cute in clothes) but I am not sure what size to get him. He is 13.5 inches from shoulders to tail BUT the sites instruct that their neck size also goes with the clothes and his neck is tiny! He really is small, just long. I am wondering, if I buy him the 'Medium' clothes, that are for 14-16 inches, will they be way to big around for him? (I don't want to buy them way too big for him.) Sully is about 7-8 pounds. What can I expect? (I've never bought him clothes before.) Here is one of the ones I'm drooling over: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...370673786&rd=1

| I have learned that every clothing company or seamstress has different sizing, a small in one company is a large in another, etc. I have found the best measurement to go by is the chest measurement. Mia is also very long and skinny, so most things that fit her length she can practically step out because the chest is too big. But when they fit her chest it fits fine, even if its sometimes a little short! Just measure right behind his front legs, most pet clothes places will have a chest measurement also! |

| Valerie! I love that hawaiian shirt too. Let me know how it looks when you get it. I know you will post pics of handsome Sully in his new shirt. If he is 13,5 and has a small neck, I would go with the "small" size to be safe. You couls always return it if it's too small. I know that's huge hassle, but I would risk it with the small first. Good luck! |

| I would think Small would probably be Sully's size too. Not 100% sure, but I think the medium sounds to big for him...I could be wrong. Can't wait to see pictures of Sully in his shirt...you will have to teach him some hula dancing! |

| I think I would go for the small. Not sure, but here you can take your dog in the store and try the sizes on your dog. Give a nice effect and now I know what I can buy anywhere. That shirt is just cute BTW. Dont they all look great in clothes. I am making a bunch of new dresses right now for Bridget I will post pics when I am done
