| excessive urine Hello! I'm a new yorkie mom and was wonderring if my yorkie is ok. His name is Chico and he pees alot in large amounts is this normal? Also I was wonderring on size does anyone know how to figure out there mature weight? Chico is 2.1 pounds and his parents are small, mom is 4 1/2 and his dad is 3 1/2 |

| My daughter's chihuahua does that and he has polysystic kidneys, it's not fatal or anything, but he has to eat special food and he could have problems later on. They only found out about it because he had bloodwork done prior to being neutered. I'm not saying that's your dog's problem but the excessive urination is a symptom of kidney problems. |

| I did a search for excessive urination and this is the closest post I found. Cooper has been urinating constantly in the evening/night. He doesn't seem to go when we are at work, as there is rarely pee on his pad. Once we get home he is peeing (outside, on his pad and on the floor) every 15 minutes, or so. He's always been a drinker, we fill up his water bowl several times a day. The google searches I have done also point to kidney issues. Does anyone have any other ideas? Thanks in advance for your help!

| When Brandi pees a lot it usually because of a urinary tract infection. Blood doesn't always show up in the urine. A urinalysis would let you know for sure |
