| ![]() I read in a book about a non-invasive surgery for spaying/neutering that involves an injection that sterilizes them. The place I'm going to get Meily fixed at hasn't heard of it. I was wondering if anyone here has? I'd like to find a place in Los Angeles that does that, rather than surgery, but I don't have time to call every vet in town. Any suggestions? |

| ![]() OK. I'm reading through that... it seems to be only for male dogs though... what about females? |

| ![]() Kendal this is still a new process (just recently got approved) and they are using it in pounds and humane societies to keep the population down. At this point and time I would not recommend this procedure until more is know. It still will not protect your little girl for tumors down the road.

| ![]() Kendal, when Sandra wrote the book in 1999 very small testing was going on and if you read the following press release you might miss the point that it is for male dogs which maybe is what Sandra did. I did it myself - I missed that it has only been approved for males. I have met her a couple of times at dog shows in Tucson but I have never spoken to her about this. You can also read a great deal about this if you google Neutersol. http://atmizzou.missouri.edu/jul03/Neutering.htm
