| Should I do this cut? I have never cut Tinkerbell's hair and now the body hair is sweeping the floor. I was playing with the idea to cut her hair like this soon for the summer. But a little longer on the body. Do you think I'm crazy? Do you think she would still look cute? I love her hair but it does get awful hot here in the summer. What do you think? I have always thought this little yorkie's cut was so cute. |

| I'm kind of looking at cutting Trixie's hair too. I just haven't found the guts to do it yet. They look so pretty with their long hair! The cut you picked out is really cute though!

| I wouldn't. But I just perfer long hair. I cried and cried when they had to shave Gus after his accident. I mean there are some really cute cuts out there and I think a nice clean puppy cut is really cute. I just like the long hair better.

If you like it long then don't do it. I cut Lexi's because of allergies. I cried and the worst part was it didn't help.

| I would leave the face hair long & trim up the body. I would start off w/ just a little & then go from there that way it's not drastic. She will look cute either way though!

| I have had Sashas hair long for 4 years- but the more I see the cut you are showing- the more I like it. I had Sasha trimmed last week -and her skirt is about 2 Inches off the floor - I luv it - and I am about to trim her beard down also. They get so hot in the summer- and we go for alot of walks- I think she will be happier.. Also theres the "young thing" going on and I think they look about 6 mo old when they are a little shorter!! I would go for it- slowly- you can always let it grow again! I luv that cut! As long as they can have a little pony on top! And a little skirt! Sashas Mum

| Thanks ladies. I don't know if I will do it or not. I do really love her hair. I will probably chicken out. But we'll see. If it gets real hot and she seems miserable, I just might do it |

| I think the cut you showed us is totally darling. Actually, I think it is much cuter than the longer Yorkie cut - or lack of cut. And - yes, it would be wonderful for summer. I am fortunately in that I have a little Yorkie with wonderful hair that never matts or tangles. I suppose this means that I can let it grow forever. But, I not sure I ever will. I love my little dog in a shorter cut. I think it makes him cuter, neater, and more puppy-like. Don't ever be afraid to try a new cut -- that's one of the great things about Yorkies. They can be groomed in so many different ways!!!! Carol Jean |

| I think she would be adorable any way you go about it. I personally love the long hair on yorkies though. |

| Rocky gets a cut similar to the one you are looking at. Basically my groomer trims up body/legs and does a bear cut around his face. He looks so cute. I would go with with just a trim. |
