| Sleep Cycles Hi, I am still around. Just busy with Spring here! I have a question about sleep with these little ones. From the get go, Daphne would sleep through the night, in a pen in our room. From about 10pm to around 6:15 she would sleep. It was great. Every day lately, she has been waking earlier and earlier. Today it was 5:33. Is this something that is expected as she gets older. She just turned 4 months old. I plan on bringing her out of our room very shortly. I know that she is waking to have a BM. So I bring her out and then put her in the den so I can catch some more Zzzzzzz's. Can anyone share some light on this? What has worked for you? Thanks

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Cali has slept through the night since she was 5 months old but still wakes up every day between 5:30 and 6:00. I hope she starts sleeping later soon. I've waited 33 years to not have to get up to go to work and now I stil have to get up.

| Oscar is 18 months old and he is up at the crack of dawn! And it is not because he has to go potty real bad or anything like that. If it is light outside, it is time to get up in his opinion. Sometimes I will grab him and make him lay down for just a few more minutes...but he does not like that! He wants up and wants everybody else to be up with him. I would love for him to be a late sleeper but we won't ever need an alarm clock!

| my baby is going to be 3 months old in a week, and from the very first day that i got her she slept through the night, she goes to bed at about 11:30-about anywhere from 5:30-6:30 wants to have a quick poop and pee and then shes back in my bed sleeping till whenever i say it's time to wake up. On rare occassions she will be up by 8 or so when she can hear other people awake in the house, other then that i'm usually the one waking her up.

| Punkin has an internal clock that is set to our weekday schedule If we are not up by 6:10 (6:00 + one push of snooze) she starts letting us know it's time. She sleeps in the kitchen and the bark definitely gets us up. She came to live with us at 8 months and she has always slept though the night except a couple of time where she has barked to let us know she had to go out. Dave comes home everyday at the same time. Yesterday he was late and she hovered around the door waiting the entire hour he was late.

| Chachi sleeps untill we wake up. Jewels wakes up about 5 or 6 and just plays on the bed by herself untill we wake up.

| When we first brought Bella home (almost 4 weeks ago at 3mths old) she slept through the night, and would continue sleeping until 6:30. Now, she starts fidgeting at 5:30. Grrrrrrrrrr... That's waaaaaaaay to early for me! LOL. |

| As dog's get older - they certainly do require less sleep - just like little babies. And, of course, since it's getting lighter out earlier - your little pup probably thinks "daytime is here," and wants to get up and get going. Because dogs still sleep a lot (especially house dogs), my dogs like to get up and then go back to bed....so, maybe you're just stuck with getting up and letting them do whatever they need to do. | I should have named him Sleepy instead... Well let's here Harley is one that will sleep up until I get out of bed. I usually wake up around 6am and have to go potty myself but he just sits at the end of the bed wondering if I'm going to get back in bed or jump in the shower. Since I always head back to bed he just lays right back down. So in other words if I'm still laying in bed Harley's still sleeping. Lexi on the other hand will wake up at 5am and not go back to sleep until 11 or so. You would think since she's smaller that she would need more sleep but that's not the case in our house. Hopefully she'll catch on to our routine and sleep in until Mom gets out of bed. I must say though they do well at night at the foot of the bed.

| I am having the EXACT same problem!!! Emmy is 4 1/2 months old and I take her out around 10-11pm. She used to sleep until 7ish and that was fine for me! The last week though she's been getting up at 5:30 in the morning! It's killing me, and I don't know whyyy! I'm hoping this is just a short stage because I don't do mornings that early with a full day of classes ahead of me! =( -Ashley & Emmy |
