| The proud mama in the Bright Red Pyjamas!! Hi all I'm so proud of Topher that I just had to post... I'll give you a wee bit of background first.....yesterday was such a lovely spring day here...the sun was shining and warm...really beautiful. We'd had alot of snow over the winter and it's melting fast, so there's quite a bit of grass showing on my lawn for the first time since October. It was the warmest day we've had this year. Well, my Topher, whom I've had for about a month, had never been outside at the breeders before I got him (he's 5 months now), so the few times I did have him out in the snow (bundled up, of course), he hated! He did not like the snow at all!! He didn't even seem to like being outside, period!! I was worried that it might be really difficult to get him adjusted to potty training outside....he's been doing wonderfully training with the pee pads but outside training has always been my goal..... Well, anyway..... I took him out yesterday on the leash and he LOVED being outside. He was sniffing at the grass and having a grand old time....then he did his business on the grass (#2)!! Well, I was so thrilled I was clapping my hands and hooting and hollering, doing a little dance ...lol...he was so proud of himself!! I immediately called (loudly)to my hubby to come out and see what Topher did!! Well, I looked up and noticed a few people down the street looking at me as if I were crazy and I realized that I still had my jammies on under my jacket (bright red jammies, of course!) Apparently my neighbors who have their house for sale were having an open house at the time...lol...I hope seeing the nutty lady in the red jammies hollering about her dog pooping in the grass didn't discourage them from buying in this neighborhood!! heehee...I sure must have been a sight to behold!! I was such a proud mama that I had to share his accomplishment with everyone....oh, and I will try to remember to get dressed today when I take him out again!!lol |

| Don't worry I take mine out all the time in my jammies. The church across the street would perfer me to get dressed when they are having services but I figure I have more clothes on then most who attend services so I see no harm in it. Congrats on your baby doing his business outside! |

| Too funny, we do get excited over our babies accomplishments. As for the PJ's if I am running late in the morning I drive my kids to school in my PJ's. One morning I had to stop for gas. The owner who I know, has not forgotten my Hello Kitty PJ bottoms or allowed me to either.

| I used to drop my kids off at school all the time in my pyjamas until one morning my son's teacher (who was doing yard duty) walked up to my van and asked me to come talk to her for a few minutes....I had to tell her that I'd have to come back because I wasn't dressed! Years ago my fiance's mother got in a car accident (she flipped her vehicle) while wearing nothing but a slip and a sweater! She was ok, thank heavens, but was humiliated when she had to crawl out the hatchback of the car..lol. |
