| Maybe looking for Winston's Sister....HELP! Okay... I have something to confess. Reading about you all with puppies and more than one furbabies.... I am getting a major puppy fever. I've been working on my husband about adding a little girl to our family for about 2-3 months now. A bit of history, it took me 10 years to talk him into getting Winston and he is crazy about the boy now as much as I am. He is finally mentioning the new baby girl daily. So I figure it's time to get serious. For those of you that started out with one furbaby then got another one. What are the pros and cons? Is it that much harder? We take Winston everywhere with us and our world really evolves around Winston. Do you think Winston, who doesn't think that he is a dog, would be okay with another little on around? Please help. Nid

| Go for it !!!!!! We got Harley first and felt bad cause we work alot, and then we got our girl Haley and they love each other, you can't ever separate them, i remember when we got Harley fixed he was at the vets all day and Haley went nuts waiting for her buddy to come home, it's such a joy to have two of them, they both do everything together, eat, sleep, play and go swimming in the summer time,,, |

| I say go for it! Having 2 is so much easier than having one IMO! Winston will probably be jealous at first but he will get used to her in time! I think that you should definetly get another one, Winston would love you for it

| I AGREE... Gizmo was 1st then Winnie's girl Maddy and even though she bully's her brother they love each other to death...... it's a bit hard sometimes to take them places but fun at the same time when you do, plus it works Gizmo is a daddy's boy & Maddy a mamma's girl so it works ... |

| Oh thank you for your message. Do you crate them? Winston is in his space, a crate big enough for a 90 lbs dog, during the day when we are at work. He really likes his space. We leave the t.v. on for him. Should I keep them together or separate?

| I personally vote for together, more bonding time and they don't feel as alone, we leave Disney or Discovery Channel on too... |

| How old is Winston ? I also am wanting a baby girl yorkie. I currently have a 7 yr. old spoiled rotten boy. My husband tells me that kobe would not accept another one. And it would be mean of me to bring another yorkie into the house. I also feel that he would like a playmate while I am at work. I would like to hear others opinions on this. |

| Winston is 14 months old. He really doesn't know what to do with any other dogs. He really is a big time Mommy's boy and hurts his Daddy's feelings sometime. The moment he gets scared, sleepy, etc. he needs me to hold him. He is pretty spoiled. We got him when he was 5 months old. The breeder originally breeded him to be a show dog but changed her mind. He had a sister in the liter so they were together until then. They really did enjoy playing together. I sure hope that Winston will be okay with his new sister. He is really playful and would not leave us alone unless we play with him. Okay, I think I am going to go for it. Thank you guys. Now I need to research and find a little girl.

| Having two is great! IMO it's better to introduce a new yorkie to the home when your original dog is reletively young. I think Winston is a good age. The pros are- They never get lonely because they have each other, you get twice the puppy kisses, they have each other to play with so when you are busy you don't have to worry as much. Cons- It is harder to take them both with you places (i take turns with my girls if we're going shopping) but for walks, traveling and stuff like that, they always come together. And it's twice the money for food, vet, toys, flea treatments, hair cuts stuff like that. But to me it's worth it and i love having two.

| I beleive it is definitely better to have more than one, regardless of breed... My Tootie was the 4th added to an already mixed up brood(chi mix, boston terr, Y lab)... They all love one another and it is so much easier to leave them during the day because they have each other, and Animal Planet, for company.... I dont like them to be lonely
