| I give Bailey a teaspoon to a tablespoon every now and then, as a treat, he loves it, But I don't give him too much of a good thing, cause he INHALES it, then pukes.. so just small amounts for him.

| I give it to my dogs about a 1/2 cup with their dry or kibble sometimes. They love cottage cheese.

| I've never given it to my Yorkies, but when my Alaskan Malamute was pregnant and nursing my vet told me to give it to her for the calcium. |

| Tucker loves it but he only gets it when I have to give him a pill. It is the only thing I've found that I can hide the pill in and he doesn't spit it out.

| Last week Jack was throwing up quite a bit so I called the vet. He said give him cottage cheese. I gave him a couple of tablespoons and within a few minutes he was fine. It happened again a couple of days later, so I did it again and he is now fine. The vet thinks he may have a touch of stomach flu.

| Ginger gets ¼ cup, just about every night when I eat dinner. She likes it, but isn’t CRAZY about it, because she still begs me for mine. Oh, and it has to at least be low-fat. She won't eat fat-free.

| The vet told me it's fine to give them some, low fat is best. Just don't give them sooo much that they are full and don't eat their DOG food |

| When I brought my 8-week old pup home - my vet said to give him cottage cheese every night right before we went to bed. He said it has a lot of protein and would "stick with him" better during the night - and both of us would get more sleep. I guess it worked because my little guy easily slept 5 to 6 hours from the first night on. I just got up with him quickly when he first woke up to get him to his potty pad. (He also didn't pee during the night while he slept - soundly). Carol Jean |
