| Homer at Grandmas Hi everyone Just wanted to say Hi and let you all know I have Homer for the day. He will be 11 weeks tomorrow and a very active little guy .Barking Biting and Jumping It is the first time without Mom and Dad .Usually one of them is at home since they work shift s but for the month of april they are on the same shift. I will look after him during the day so he is not home alone for 10 hours He arrived around 7:30 and will go home around 6 . He played for most of the last 2 hours this morning . We were outside a couple of times and doesn't he love it there. I just put him in his kennel for a Nap . I think he seems to like it there. Its not the same as the one he has at home so I want to get him used to it. I forgot what having a baby was like . The first yorkie we had was 4 months b4 we took her home . I think I am getting very old .My Daughter says homer will keep me young. My living room looks like a day care with so many toys. The one he likes the best is a sock of my husbands. He may not appreciate doggie licks on the sock when he comes from work. Since I am newly retired I think Homer will keep me busy. Fran |

| Aw how nice Fran. My mom didn't warm up to Stewie right away, but now she takes him up in a blanket and rocks him. She has a picture of him on her desk at work in a frame that says "I Love my Grandma!" It's really funny how they sneak into everyone's hearts. Sounds like your being a good Gram!

| Yup, Yorkies totally steal hearts. My Mom, who is really terrified of dogs (probably from a childhood incident) has really warmed up to Yoda and even knits him sweaters and always pets him (and sneaks him bits of food). She always calls him "cutie". |

| I was very used to a yorkie after having one for 13 years but its been 2 years since she is gone and I was really nervous Homer wouldn't settle but ha seems to be doing ok . He just fell asleep in my arms and I put him in his crate again and he seems to have gone to sleep. My only problem is he bites and chews everything including ears. I am forever saying NO BITE . Hope this passes soon . I think he will be a good pup if we don't spoil or let him get away with too much. |
