| Not Eating Until Late Afternoon Gizmo is 5 months old. He has always eaten dry food in the morning and around lunch, at night he gets can food. For about the last week he does not eat anything until late afternoon around 3-4 o'clock, then he eats a little dry food and still eats his can food at night. Is it normal for him to go all day without eating. I don't think it is his teeth, he still chews on his bully sticks, so I don't think his teeth or gums hurt. He is still very active. Just seems young to go till late afternoon before eating.

| He might not be hungry in the morning. Do you leave the dry food out all day? Princess eats very little in the morning, once she's up, it's play time.

| I wouldn't worry, if he's still playing, and looks like he's OK, then he is. He might be eating when your not looking, Princess will do that. As they get older, they don't eat as much.

| Peanut does the same Thing. He wont eat until after 11am.It drives me crazy. Vets said put hes food down three times a day, only for 30minutes each time. I also try too add something special to his meal,Like shredded cheese or cottage cheese. He will eat when he is hungry but you worry.

| I am having the same thing with my little guy. He is 4 1/2 months old and he has sure cut back in the amount he is eating. He was a little pig for just over a month and now he is cut his amount in half. He was growing so fast and now he has slowed down in growth too. Is it the normal around 4 to 5 months of age? |

| It's weird because we have a Boxer who will eat right when she gets up, but Georgie waits until early afternoon. I think he is fine he will eat when he is hungry if there are changes in his behavior then I would worry, sounds like your baby just isn't hungry in the morning
