| Chloe loves my mom more than me My feelings are hurt and I can't help to feel a little jealous. My mom got Chloe spoiled rotten and I feel she loves my mom way more than me. My mom does not work and is able to spend more time with her than me. If I could stay home with her everyday, I would. But, I have to work in order to my bills, so someday I can get my own place. I can't afford not to work. I try to make it up to Chloe when I get home with tons of attention and love. But, everytime I try to pick her up to give her some love, she starts squirming out my arms. Even growling and barking when my mom is present because she wants her to hold her instead. She wants to go with her and sometimes acts like she does not want anything to do with me.

| I'm sure she loves you just as much! She is probably going through a phase. These little yorkies can have attitude...maybe she is trying to make you feel bad for leaving her when you go to work. It is great that your mom can babysit while you are away! So much better than worrying about them being alone!

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Sometimes cali acts like she likes my husband more than me even though I am home with her all the time. I think they just go thru phases and really love us all. Does she sleep with you that may help.

| No, my mom won't allow her in the bedrooms until she is housebroken. She goes on her pad 50% of the time, the rest she squats whenever she feels like it. I want her to sleep with me, but is my mom's house. So, I can't argue with her. She sleeps in her kennel in the laundry room. but, we leave her kennel door open, so she can get to her puppy pad. Once she is fully trained, I want her to start sleeping with me. My yorkie Lacey slept with me every night until the day before we had to put her to sleep. But, I placed a pillow on the floor next to the bed because I did not want her to hurt herself jumping off when she had to use the bathroom.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Can you put her kennel in your roon inside an xpen so she can get out to her pad but still be in your room. If not just keep telling her that your mom is the one that won't let her sleep with you!!LOL

| CajunGal. Your little Yorkie is undoubtly closer and more bonded to your mom because she spends most of her time with her. I would have expected this to happen. My Yorkie is very bonded to me, but certainly loves other people too... especially those he sees often. I would suspect (hopefully) that when your little pup gets a little older, he'll become more comfortable being away from your mother - and start spending and enjoy more time with you also. There are always advantages and disadvantages when we live with our parents. When you get your own place -- you will be the "main person" for your little pets. At least for now, I'm sure you're thankful that someone is with your little girl all day. You'd hate to be leaving her home alone - she is so little and so young. Best of luck! Carol Jean |
