| new baby-14 weeks, hates sweaters! Finally got our new baby and tried a sweater on her this morning cause its COLd, and shes doing what I'll now be calling "The sweater dance"! She stands on her hind legs, shakes her front paws and spins in a circle. then, repeat... stands on hind legs, shakes front paws, spin. Will she ever get used to it???She better, cause she has lotsa clothes to try on.. lol At least now shes decided not to walk anywhere, hmmmm might use this to my advantage. lol

| bunjee didn't like to wear clothes at first either. he got used to it after a while tho. i got him a few tshirts to wear and get used to. that way he wouldn't mess up the threads of the sweater before he gets used to it. |

| Yes, she CAN get used to it. Yoda hated clothes too at first, but we were persistent and kept on putting it on him. The sweater dance sounds very cute! What you could try is this, take her outside (when it's a bit cold but not too cold) without any clothes on. Then put the sweater on her and give her lots of praise and a small treat. If she can associate the nice warmness with the sweater, perhaps she will take to it faster. Good luck with Prissy and sweaters! |
