| Feeding two yorkies Now that I have two little yorkies I am finding feeding them to be pretty entertaining. They each have their own bowl. We prepare their dinner and set the bowls down on opposite sides of the kitchen simultaneously. They race to their bowls and eat as fast as they can. They almost always finish at exactly the same moment and race to check the other one's bowl passing each other on the way. It's like a race. I swear they must have yorkie indigestion when they are done. I have never seen a dog eat so fast. It's really hysterical.

| LOL that is so cute! when we first brought my rescue home, we had to feed my rescue more because she was abused and underweight. so my beagle would go to her bowl thinking she would get more food, LOL!

| Good For Them! That's good they have hearty appetites. There's nothing fun about a finicky eater. So count your Blessings!

| I have a shy Bichon and a Yorkie just like yours. Even when my Yorkie was an 8-week old pup - right from the start - he'd run over the the Bichon's dish first and gulp it down (while the shy Bichon watched) and then run back and eat his own also. I have had a real problem with my little Yorkie "getting all the food." So - I have to feed them separately. I have even resorted to putting my Bichon in another room and letting him eat in peace so the Yorkie won't get his dinner. Yorkies - are "gulping pigs." Sounds terrible, doesn't it. But I'm afraid that mine is just that. Carol Jean |
