This painting is by an artist called Greg Olsen. It's $400 for the painting. I would love to have it and hang it in my new house. But that's too expensive for me. You can buy a Nigerian puppy off puppyfind.com for that much.

Seriously, does anyone have this painting or have ever seen it? I love it, and if anyone would like to send donations to the BabyFidgette Foundation Fund for the purchase of this painting, I would be more than willing to accept!

I havent seen that one before but I might just have to get it too. I have a couple of Greg Olsen prints though I love them he is a great artist.

Yep that is the way to go. I only have prints but I bet his paintings are outstanding. He does really great Spiriual pictures too. One time I had someone in my house selling Insurance and they imediately knew who he was.

i LOVE that painting!!!

I would go for the print- my hubby would KILL me if i even tried to spend $400 on a painting- anyone know where i could find prints??

It's on the website that I posted above. Or, you might be able to get it on eBay cheaper. Or...you can type I Love New Yorkies into Google and see what pops up.

Go to an Art Gallery and you can find it. Prints are cheap. I think the most I ever paid for a print was like$200. Its the matting and framing that is expensive.

Baby Fidgette, $400 for an original painting would be a great price for an oil painting by Olsen. Check the gallery and make sure this is not a limited edition print that has been printed on canvas for that amount. I would think his originals would go for alot more than that considering his prints on paper are more expensive in some cases. I saw one on the site for $550. So please be careful that you are getting what you think you are.

Thanks...you know what? I was thinking the same thing. It does say canvas. What does that mean? Believe me, I can't afford it anyway!

The painting is way more than $400. I don't even think its for sale anywhere. I think you must be talking about a print on Canvas or a lithograph. That is a numbered copy and its limited to 2,500 copies.

I'm sorry...I still don't understand what a print on Canvas is. I thought canvas was what artists painted on. And I thought a lithograph was the same thing as a print. I'm so confused.
