| Thoughts for Charlie Charlie goes in tomorrow morning to get his baby canines extracted. They never would fall out I'm scared of him going under. I hear it is hard on the tiny ones and hard on the big guys. I've had mastiffs that do NOT do well under anesthetic (have mastiff puppy now too that would scare me). I have never owned a toy breed before that had to go under. He is only 5.4 pounds so it worries me. They tell me he will be in a little discomfort afterward and I was thinking "well that's not so bad if just a little" but then I had to ask....is it like when we get our teeth pulled and she said YES!! Well when I've gotten teeth pulled it hurt like heck! What can I do for him when he comes home? btw I will try to post pics of charlie so you can "meet" him. Not sure if it'll work cause I haven't done it yet. oh another btw......I"m Charlie's MOM. I don't know if I've posted here before but pretty sure I must have a while back since I had a name and password, lol. Nice to meet you all That is my 16 yr old son in the pic with Charlie. It was taken today. Please excuse Dante's (dobie) "goodies." Never seems to be a time during picture taking that he ISN'T like that, lol. |

| Welcome, Charlie's mom. We moms reserve the right to worry ourselves sick when our babies get handed over to the vet for the slightest thing. If your vet does the blood panel before anesthesia, he is gonna be fine. Heck, he will be fine anyway, but we still will think of him and you tomorrow... |

| Sorry, I am laughing so hard..I had to look at your picture again to see what you meant about your Dobie...his goodies I have had many rescue's have teeth pulled and I have been amazed how they have handled it. I just gave them soft food or chicken and they were fine in a few days. Good Luck and watch your goodies

| Charlie is such a cutie! Welcome to YT! Hope you will stop by more often. We will be thinking about Charlie tomorrow! I know he will come out fine and you'll probably never even notice. When bronx got fixed and had his teeth removed, he seemed like his same old self. I couldn't even get him to slow down.

| Thanks guys Glad to hear others have had it done with no problems. Charlie is just my baby so I worry about him going under. As for Dante and his goodies, lol. I guess I should have not said anything and no one would have noticed, lol. I get so embarrassed because most pictures with him in them he is showing ole glory to the world, LOL. Question: Do all yorkies hump the other dogs in the house, and the toys, pillows and a choosen few friends of the boys that come to visit? |
