| ??? about raw and sore teets on mommy dog My friends Westie that had 11 puppies about three weeks ago has extremely raw and sore teets....not mastitis or hard or anything...she is still nursing the pups but will only let them nurse while she stands up for a few minutes and then she is out of there....her whole tummy is scratched up from the claws and red and kind of dark looking.... can anyone reccommend a remedy or ointment that would be good to rub on her teets to relieve discomfort and not be harmful to the pups???? Thanks bunches

| I know Bag Balm was created for cows udders but not sure about the puppies. http://www.arcatapet.com/item.cfm?cat=1329 P.S. It is sold in just about any drugstore now as it is great for chapped hands and lips.
