| Yorkie Problems!!! We have a 18 week old female, that we got when she was 12 wks old. Our problems are this; She is very hard to get to eat dry dog food, she did Ok up until 2 weeks ago and she stopped eating good. She weighed 1-1/2 at 12 weeks and now she weighs 2.2 lbs. We have tried a few of the puppy pouches that have a gravy over them and we also put some of her dry mixed in. We haven`t tried people food yet!! We also give her a bit of Nutrical daily. The next problem is that she climbs and we haven`t been able to keep her in the bathroom . She will climb over the gate and the gate is 3 ft tall. We will probably try something to cover the gate that is slick and that she can`t climb! The next problem is that if we try to leave her in a crate or even the small crate we take in the car, she will usually poop on the bedding!!! Wow she is driving us crazy!!! She does really good as lon as we are entertaining her. She doesn`t make any mistakes in the house until we leave. Any suggestions will be appreciated and please send a email . thanks Mark |

| A lot of us here mix an little canned food with dry. I just started my babies on Merrick's canned and they ABSOLUTELY LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!! There are a bunch of us here who swear by this food. It is great food - all natural ingredients and many varieties to choose from. It looks and smells good enough for humans to eat. As far as your little one climbing the gate, this is common with Yorkies. They're climbers!! Some of us either get taller gates or put one gate on top of another so they can't 'escape'. Good luck. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I wish I could help but Cali my 8 month old will only eat hamburger as of a wek or so ago. She was sick and I put her on that and know I am trying to get her off and no luck so far. I would try and keep her on a good dog food if at all possible.

| Wow you must have a little stinker on your hands. Meaning that in a funny way. I give mine a mixture of dry food, canned puppy food and cottage cheese, they seem to really love it. Nutri Cal is certainly good also as you say your doing. As for the climbing of the gates wow, I have only had one that did that and we put slick like wallboard on it to keep her from climbing. Good luck |

| I sprinkled a little water on Ravens dry food just to slightly moisten it, then sprinkled parmesean cheese on it. Of course I learned that here on YT! Worked for me, I hope it works as well for you. Kim
