| When does the Growing Stop? My baby is 6 months old and he can't weigh more than 4 or 4.5 pounds. He seems to have quit gaining weight. He eats well and is very active. Since everyone here has a Yorkie I figured this would be a good place to come. LOL So when did your Yorkie quit "growing"?? |

| yorkies and other small breeds tend to stop growing around 7months. so your little guy could be slowing down or may even be done growing now.

| They will be fully mature by 2 years old. Any growing should stop by then... (they may get heavier! ... depends on how many treats).

| WOW!. Guess it is a good thing I bought some doggie steps last night. LOL He can jump up on the bed(doesn't like to tho) but he can't get down. Same goes for the sofa. We have to get him down. If you walk away and don't get him down he just sits and cries. lol My grandmother has a Yorkie. He is a tad bit bigger and is 2 years old. I swear he is all over the place. Jumps around like it is nothing. He is a VERY hyper dog and always has been. LOL I guess I have me a little man with a BIG ego ! LOL Thanks a bunch. |
