| What do you miss the most... From your babies since they were babies. Coco is still considered a puppy but there are some things I miss about her being a baby puppy...for example 1. PUPPY BREATH--They used to just smell and taste so sweet, now they are a cross between fish and butt crack (not that I know what that tastes like, but I imagine)...no it's not that bad but bad compared to sweet puppy breath. 2. Puppy imbalance- The way she would run aimlessly and trip over less than 1 lbs self. 3. Tiny Tongue-Nothing like an itty bitty tongie trying hard to lick you, as opposed to the mile long screw tongue that fits in any hole available (But I wouldn't trade those screwy kisses for nothing) WHAT DO YOU GUYS MISS ABOUT YOUR FURBABIES BEING REAL YOUNG PUPPY'S?? I feel so sad and nostalgic all of sudden Now I know how my parents felt when I was graduating high school, college, and post grad Here's Coco on her first 2 weeks with me

| Midori is only 5 months so I think she is still a puppy, but the thing I love the most is when she wakes me up by pouncing on my head and licking my face and ears until I get up and take her out! How can anyones day be bad after a wake up like that!! I love it, and if she grows out of it I will just die! Please DON'T TELL ME if they do indeed grow out of the morning kisses stage! |

| Awww Brownie looks so cute and tiny in this picture. I just miss my baby being a baby..lol..she's still small so it's not about the size, it's just some things that she did that were just so cute. Like she would suckle on my finger, like it was a nipple..lol

| I miss that Chewy is much more independent. He used to just be with me all the time, sitting on my lap, following me around...now he has a toy and can sit by himself for hours just chewing on it. I guess I want him to need me more . That's how I feel about my son though so maybe I'm just an empty nester at 35 |

Yorkie Lover Donating Member | I think the number one thing I miss is some of their puppy behaviors, like taking the big toys and running around the house, or when they try to run and it is really a hop!! I also miss their little puppy face, they are always so cute....but I wouldn't change anything, I have loved to watch them grow up into beautiful little girls!!!

| I miss the way he would sleep all day like a real baby it was so cute. He's only 4 months old now so I have alot more changes to get used to I also miss how he used to follow me everywhere and sit on my feet when I was washing the dishes He has become alot more independent now and will sometimes even go upstairs on his own. I used to love it when he couldn't get upstairs and used to put his little paws on the bottom step and cry if I went upstairs. see picture and please excuse the no carpet on the stairs we had only just moved into our house and I want cream carpet on them but refuse to get it till he's 100% toilet trained

Your post cracked me up! Exspesially the tongue thing hahaha.... ...I consider Bella to be just a puppy still....she is a little over six months so she is still doing all the cute things like following me everywhere...but she is very mischeiveous still.......Louie on the other hand has become a lot more independent and will just hop on the couch and take a nap....she has to be with ME to take a nap lol.......I miss when Louie was younger and I could take him ANYWHERE because he would be quiet and would not bark at people or dogs the way he does now...........but I definately love watching him change and mature.....and he is still the sweetest little thing that ever walked the earth

| I miss the little waddle butt!! Especially when trying to carry something that was as big as he was! This is Dublin at about 12 weeks. He still follows his grumpy old Uncle Dempsey everywhere. Look at that little butt!!

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Cute thread... I Miss the looks and smell too- even though my girls are 3-1/2 and 1-1/2 years old....both still have so many puppy traits that I feel like they still are little babies...They STILL hide toys and treats and bury stuff in silly places....sleep in jammies and blankies and need their favorite toy.... Watching them grow and change has just been a total joy but I sure would love another puppy in the house |
