Good for you!!!!

Why do some people think just because we have females, we
are going to breed them???? I had the same thing happen to me at our Vets. I must admit the male was taken care of, but I'm not a Breeder, and I'm not going
to become one. Princess is the light of my life. She would have very cute babies, but I want to grow old with her. No way am I ever going to put her at risk. They saw how upset I was, just about to blow up, when they decided it was our turn to go in. I felt bad because it really wasn't, but they knew I would make big scene and thell them off. I just picked Princess up out of her stroller turned around and told them they need to get a life.

So glad Tia is feeling better!

I wish I could be more assertive like that! I am such a panzy when it comes to tellin people what they can do with their breeding ideas!

I have one lady who keeps buggin me about breedin Pita and I just keep saying no, I don't think so...

I got to put my foot down dammit! I admire your spunk!

Excellent point! I brought this up to that couple too! I said my husband and I both work full time and we would NOT be able to properly take care of the mama and babies. How could I provide round the clock care when I'm gone during the day and then I need my sleep at night so that I can wake up at 7 a.m. the next day for work? Some people are just so dense!

That woman DESERVED to hear that and sometimes you just can't be nice if someone that ignorant is arguing with you - I can't believe how little people really think of breeding dogs....it's no freakin WONDER the shelters are full....
