| Well, it's a start...! I am happy to say that the puppy mill pet shop in town is closing down! The store is part of a chain, and has so many sickly puppies. When the store first opened, I was there (pre-YT, of course!) and a girl came in crying her eyes out, returning her little Min Pin that was apparently sick. This is also the store that I told everyone about where Olivia threw up all over the place in "protest!" I can't wait to see the news to see what they say about it. Apparently, the Humane Society had a ton of reports of sick animals and finally investigated. So, that's one down... It's very encouraging to see that something can be done to shut these places down! |

| Yay! This is GREAT news for all those poor little pups. I am hoping the one here in town that opened a few weeks ago will shut down too. There was a story on the news about it (not a good story ) so maybe some will heed the warning. The last one didn't last too long. I will be keeping my fingers crossed! |

| What pet store was this? I'm hoping it was Puppy Boutique in Brooklyn. They have SOOO many pupies there and that place just gives me horrible vibes. |

| Petland here in Akron has an ad in the paper and have lowered all their prices by 50% and still the prices are way too high but less people are buying from them in this area I know for a fact and they must be forced to do this.

| If you don't mind us asking, what pet store is it? We have a chain here tht opened up last year in out mall and supposedly when their lease for the year is up in June, they are GONE b/c of so many protests and a petition hundreds upon hundreds of people signed. I'm hoping it's part of the same chain b/c I would more than happy to shut the company itself down! Just one store is a start to the rest!

| If you are talking to me it's Chapel Hill Mall. With these big chains, you close them down and they open another BUT closing and opening another costs them big bucks which really puts a smile on my face.
