| Before I used Chris Christensen systems I use to use just peoples shampoo and pantene. Why don't you try something like head and shoulders on her body.. Just make sure you wash it out well.

I don't know of any store here that carries CC products so I want to make sure it will be good for my Tiger. I'd hate to spend on an expensive product, pay for shipping and only to find out it isn't good. Of course, I read through this FM that majority sends out great reviews about the product.

| The shampoo that I have through CC systems is Day to Day Moisturizing but it doesn't say anthing about Oatmeal. But I have to tell you it wasn't that expensive for the 4 bottle treatment, I think only $8 but the stupid shipping was around $10. I would try some product made for humans before I ran out and purchased this, even though I do like it.

| We use an oatmeal shampoo on Bella and today I noticed white specks in her fur. I don't know what to do! We got the oatmeal shampoo for Kelli to prevent dry skin but never got a chance to use it on her, I'd hate to think that it's not going to work on Isabella. This may sound silly, but I know with humans we get dry skin in the winter from being inside with the heat on and everything....could it be the same for dogs/animals?

| I would think that the white specs are probably the oatmeal.. Next time rinse her extra good, and do you use a conditioner.. That would help get rid of the specs too!

| Hello, My little Molly had white specs and I use Black Pearl on her. She is much better. She also was scratching quite a bit, but that is better also. I changed her food to Eagle Pack, which I saw mentioned on this site and also put a little Missing Link in her food. I have had a time getting her on a feeding schedule and dealing with her scratching. The Black Pearl is a very good shampoo and was recommended by my breeder. I hope you baby gets better. I worry about mine all the time. She seems so fragile. Mollymae |

There is oatmeal in it and it is effective for dry coats. I really feel it is best to use products formulated for dogs, even if you don't choose cc, then there are many others to choose from. If finances are a factor, then personally, I would go with herbal essence or pantene before I would buy something off hte shelf from petco or wherever. Before I started using cc I went and bought something from petland - 4 paws I think - and it was just horrendous for Chewy's coat! It was dry and stringy . Good luck finding something you like!

No, finances is NOT a factor. My only concern is if it does not work for my Tiger, then it becomes a waste of money, especially since I have to pay for shipping charges. If CC were available locally, I probably would have gone and get it by now. Right now he uses the pet aromatics and they aren't cheap either, but at least I did not have to pay extra for shipping . . you know what I mean?! Okay, since you sell these products, do they come in a sample set? If not, please advise what exactly I need to improve on his coat - knowing that he has very dry flaky skin: Shampoo, conditioner, etc. I might as well get "the works" so that I only pay a one time shipping. I know that you give a discount to YT members so that is really nice. Based on your experience, how long do you think before the flakes dissapears completely?

| I had one dog that had dry skin that flaked a lot. It wasn't allergies just dry skin. What I ended up doing was adding flax seed oil into her diet. After a couple of months she stop flaking. |
